We love supporting our local wine scene and are hosting many virtual tastings for small family run wineries. But we know not everyone can afford to participate, or live close enough to pick up the wines at the winery or live in a location that can be shipped to. So in order to allow more people to participate in this cool new format, we are bringing you the “Pour For The People” series!
Virtual tastings are a great way to learn about wine in a fun interactive way, without ever having to leave your home! If you have never done one before or maybe you are new to wine and want to learn, or you just want to hang out with Russ and Carrie for a half hour, these “wallet-friendly” virtual tastings are for you! If you like this virtual tasting, we will tell you all about the upcoming events all over the region!
We randomly selected the wine from the weekly advertisements that arrive in the mailbox, and most of us consider “junk mail!” A quick peek at the wines on sale and readily available across the USA allows us to choose a wine that is under $20, most people have access to, and does not require shipping. We do not recieve any product or monetary compensation from these wineries, supermarkets or distributors. We actually pay for this wine just like you do! BYOB – Grab this wine at any of your local supermarkets, chill it down and then join us on Wednesday at 4pm PT/7pm ET!
This week we chose Côte des Roses Rosé by Gérard Bertrand. This wine is from the Languedoc appellation in France and is the perfect sipping wine for relaxing by the sea, the pool or the spa! Join us as we explore this wine with friends!
